It Takes A Lot Of Money To Look This Ugly

I did my makeup live on Instagram this morning and here’s what I learned:

  1. Strange men in Saudi Arabia don’t care what foundation you use, they just want you to take your shirt off.
  2. The lighting in my bedroom isn’t as good as I thought it was.
  3. I wear a shit ton of makeup.

As promised, see below for the full list of all the products, brushes and sprays I used today.

I started off with my favorite Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Tinted Moisturizer (medium shade). Literally a life changer. You go from pasty bitch to a tan mother fucker real quick.

Then I used two foundation that are both really thin and silky (like me lol). One is super expensive and the other is super cheap so they balance each other out. I use shade 40 from Armani.

I then started on my cream contour which I usually use a wide range of products for. All of them are good and most are reasonably priced. The Tarte Shape Tape concealer is a life changer (I use the light shade). I either blend with a blender or these new fancy egg shaped brushes. Beauty Blenders are great but there are also some great, cheaper alternatives that look the same and get the job done.
Products:

Once I am fully blended, I go over my cream contour with my powder kits just to solidify my contour. Gotta make sure that bitch stays put.  These are the 2 palettes I used today. Again, one is a little more expensive and the other is super reasonable and just as good.

Products:

Then,  I like to make sure I am one fluid skin tone so I go over my entire face/neck with Tarte Park Avenue Princess bronzer. So worth the money. The best bronzer I’ve ever used.

Products:

Last step on my face is blush & highlight. I’ve been using this blush forever, it’s rosy and natural and even though it’s small, I haven’t run out in over a year. And it’s nowhere close to being done. My key to success with highlighter is the brush. I put highlighter on the brush then spray it with my NYX setting spray. And then, BAM! I  am lit the Gods, immediately.

Products:

For my eyes, I do limited eye shadow. I’m not big on eye shadow, just a natural look, so this Tarte palette is great for me. For eyeliner, I can’t seem to master gel or liquid, so I use these gel pens that are really easy to use. It’s like training wheels for people who can’t do eyeliner. And for mascara, curling is of utmost importance. I found a super cute rhinestone one that is under $5.00 so you’re welcome for that. And lastly, for mascara the two that I use are super different. The Tarteist make your lashes really long and thin, so I use that first. Then the L’Oreal Butterfly Mascara makes them thicker.

Products:

I like to keep my eyebrows full and dark. I’m not that into eyebrows, but I started seeing bald spots and got freaked out so I bought these two products that I now love.

Products:

Finally, LIPS! I use the same couple lipsticks on rotation. They’re all pinky-nude and either matte or creamy.
