Satanic Summer

Thanks to social media, and @REVOLVE specifically, there is a stigma around summer. We’re led to believe that it’s all fine and dandy. According to Instagram, summer is about traveling to Mykonos and wearing off the shoulder tops. But when you’re broke and have occasional chub rub – that is unbelievably untrue. Revolve is lying to you. Summer is hot and it’s warm and, above all, it’s SWEATY.

When it comes to actually leaving the house during the summer, a problem millions of Americans face is what to actually wear. You want to look cute, but also don’t want to get sweaty. You can’t wear dark colors, but light colors can highlight sweat stains. It’s a huge tangled web of problems that I am here to detangle for you.

Real talk, I know how hard it can be to look presentable while also maintaining a normal body temperature and I can totally help. People ask me on Instagram all the time where I get good clothes that aren’t super expensive (#girlwithNOjob). Below are some of my favorite things to wear in the summer either because they’re light weight, bright or just make me feel good:

P.S: Worst case, just throw on a pair of sunglasses and GTFO!

Me too. I feel this clothe is for people size 0. I thought that because she is not a size 0, there were going to be more options for people with meet like her and me
